The International Bluegrass Music Association has announced the 2026 class of Leadership Bluegrass, the professional development program designed to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.
Each year, 25 participants are selected to take part in the immersive three-day experience featuring panels, strategic discussions and collaborative activities focused on the business of bluegrass and its place in the larger world of entertainment. Since its founding in 2000, Leadership Bluegrass has graduated more than 500 alumni representing every sector of the industry.
“Seeing the Leadership Bluegrass participant list each year gives me real hope for the future of our industry,” says Ken White, IBMA Executive Director. “This year’s class highlights the growing global reach of bluegrass, bringing together industry professionals from Québec, British Columbia, Switzerland, Australia, and the United States. Their diverse experiences and perspectives will help guide the future of bluegrass music.”

I wrote this book to fill a gap. While networking at festivals, I discovered a need coming from artists who are seeking viable and current information on music business. Realizing that the industry has changed a-lot, I wanted to create something relevant that provides the tools, strategies, and insight artists need to move their careers forward without losing the heart and authenticity that make bluegrass so special.
Think of this as a modern music industry guide but with a bluegrass twist. Inside you’ll find practical steps for growing your career, real -life examples, helpful templates and tools, DIY tips, and honest advice from artists who are out there doing it right now. Whether you’re just starting out or struggling with a specific need, this book is here to help you navigate it all while staying true to your sound.
The Book is Currently Sold Out! Hard Copies, Barnes and Noble and Amazon are expected to carry them June 2026.

I conduct Songwriting, Music Business, Event Planning, Publishing workshops. I can be seen at Trade shows such as NAMM conducting workshops for Indie-Artists and Indie Music libraries.

I have a music library. I pitch and sell music to ads, film, radio, video games and more. (Credits: Disney, HBO, Fox, NBC, ABC, Netflix, Hulu & More)
